Open Air, Good Tunes & Cold Brew on a Bike

Made a stop in to my favorite coffee shop in Columbus, Mission Coffee Co. They were serving up their own beans, which are packaged beautifully I might add...and some coffees by Heart Coffee Roasters (Portland, OR). I tried Heart's single origin espresso (Aguas Claras from Colombia) in my cortado. It was fantastic. They also featured MAST Brothers Cholocate (Brooklyn, NY) which is one of my favorite chocolates ever. Mission has a great open air space in a little nook off of High Street (on Price). Parked out front was their custom bike with a cold brew station attached. Cold brew on tap, on wheels. Inside, they have a sweet audio system where they played a lot of cool jams, today was mostly Michael Jackson, which was all good with me. Lots of seating, bar tables. work stations, seats at the bar and even a sectional sofa with more outlets than your average coffee shop. The place was pretty full but tables were turning over quickly. Lots of studying going on but a really chill place to caffeinate, for sure. There is no shortage of coffee shops in Columbus but these guys are doing it right. The baristas were hospitable too! They are one of many shops in Columbus participating in a type of local coffee crawl being sponsored by the Columbus Visitor Center. You collect 4 stamps from some of the participating shops and you get a T-shirt!
